Demigod in Training

The Peg: A Fresh Start (Take 2), and Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters

I'm still in my Blogger transition phase, so to speak, and I have yet to decide on what kind of blog type I want. I apologize for my change of layout and title again, but I hope to show you how much I'm discovering a love for sharing photographs, quotes, movies, food, and of course, book inspirations.

This is me starting again. I don't want to give up on this blog because of the feeling that I'm on to something. May be I’ll find out what’s missing if I work on honing this particular art that is blogging.

So, I took a hiatus and did some thinking on my photos, context, and theme. With some help from the inspirational post by Miss Danika Rio Navarro of Hello Rio!, I found out that I make the best entries according to my mood. Hence, I renamed my blog Moodpegs. Hope it fits.

With that in mind, here are my photos for August.

In honor of the much-awaited premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters, I wore my Camp Half-Blood shirt with one of my favourite pairs of jeans. A typical camper look paired with my high-cut sneakers. To top everything off, I also braided my hair the way I saw Annabeth Chase’s hair would be like on the movie promotional images.

Here’s me waiting for my coffee order at a little cafe’ at the mall. I practically oozed with anticipation for the movie! Despite the missing elements from the book, I did enjoy the whole film. I was also named Movie Audience Blooper of the Day when I was reciting the Prophecy along with Percy. There was a moment where he paused before saying the rest of the lines and I said them out loud in advance, so it spoiled the suspense for the people seated near my Mom and I.

P.S. Wish I had brought Harrod.
